Character Creation
Races
Here at Tatoria, the HUD provides a selection of races that are used as umbrella races over all the hundreds of sub-races. We do not follow D&D lore exactly, we do not follow Elder Scrolls, nor Final fantasy lore exactly, either. We are our own entity and game, with out own lore and rules. Putting it simply, pick the race that suits your character the best, and roll with it.

However, we do not allow insanely complex hybrids of races. You can't be everything rolled into one character. No, you are not a celestial dragon with demonic powers and cat-like thief abilities, who can poop gold and vanilla cookies on a whim. No, you are not the great-great-great grandson/daughter of a Time-Travelling-Worm that spits healing rainbows, who can wield a hammer 3000x your own weight. Be sensible and realistic.

Classes
No matter your race, you will belong to one of the following classes. Each class has an advantage over the others, starting with bonus points in the most important skill for combat, for that class.
Fighter
The classic DPS of the party. This character will run into battle and try to do as much damage as they can, as quickly as possible. However, they are prone to tire easily, after their outbursts.

Bonus
+ 2 Strength
Caster
The magic users. Spanning a breadth of different varieties of magic, this character uses spells during a combat situation. Their magic is something to be wary of, but they are physically squishy on their own.

Bonus
+ 2 Intelligence
Healer
Everyone needs this character in their party. Without them, all other classes will surely fall. This character uses their wisdom to heal the wounds of their friends, and to resuscitate them when they fall after battle.

Bonus
+ 2 Wisdom
Guardian
The tanks, the shields. Useless with magic, and not a very hard hitting character - but they can certainly take a beating! This character wedges themselves between the enemy and their friends, ensuring they absorb the damage for them!

Bonus
+ 2 Defence
Rogue
Sneaky, tricksy little shadows. These characters will skulk around the edge of a fight, until they spot something that want from one of the others. Handy with a bow and daggers, this character is flexible and artistic.

Bonus
+2 Dexterity
Ranger
This character will usually stick to the outskirts of battle, picking off enemies with their masterful shooting skills. Handy with a traditional bow, mechanical/cross bows and guns, be it flintlock or blunderbuss.

Bonus
+1 Dexterity
+1 Strength
